Expanding

The Anguilla Progressive Association of New York (APANY) established a branch in Miami, Florida in April 2013. This branch is ideally located to support the rapidly growing Anguillian Diaspora and friends in Florida, specifically the Miami area.

They have hosted many events, and fundraising activities to support the organization’s goals. They’ve made significant donations to The Anguilla Department of Education and the various nursing homes on the island.

Like APANY New York, the staff comprises dedicated Anguillians and friends that devote their time, skills, and experience to share with fellow Anguillians.

In particular, they focus on community events and bringing Anguillians and friends together for community events, such as Anguilla Day, and other popular holidays. In addition, they work with other local organizations to promote Anguillian culture and support causes that are important to the community.

The Miami branch of APANY is a valuable resource for the community and an important part of the organization’s overall mission. They continue to work hard to support the needs of the community and make a difference in the lives of Anguillians, both on the island and in the diaspora.
